Yale trickle vents are a type of window vent that allow fresh air to enter the room without compromising security or energy efficiency. They are easy to install and operate, and can help prevent condensation and mould growth. Yale window vents are suitable for both new and existing windows, and come in various sizes and colours to match your preferences.
Designed and developed in the UK, the Yale trickle vent SlotVent allows an appropriate amount of air to pass through the window, helping to remove stale air and reduce condensation and mould. The vent also enables people in cities or living near busy roads to benefit from ventilation without having to open their windows.
The range includes trickle vents with 2500 or 4000 equivalent areas (EA), the measure of aerodynamic performance of the ventilator and the measurement specified in building regulations.
Yale SlotVent is supplied with pre-fitted clips for easy installation with optional screw holes to fit optimal 13mm slot.
The Yale uPVC window trickle vent has been designed and tested to comply with the building regulations England and Wales requirement F- Means of Ventilation and the Scottish building regulations October 2011 Standard 3.14.
Components:
- Internal vent: Yale branded with pre-fitted clips. The vent can be tilted to 30, 60 or 90 degrees according to ventilation requirements.
- External hood: Pre-fitted clips are designed to provide ventilation whilst preventing water from entering the home. A built-in fly screen prevents flies and bugs from entering the home.
- Fly screen for overframe: to prevent flies and bugs entering the home when no external hood is used, simply fit under the internal vent.
